WhatsApp is currently most used messaging service and has more than a billion daily users. In 2016, WhatsApp launched its Video calling facility. There are a lot of other messaging apps which provide video calling facilities such as Skype, Hike, Emo, Viber etc.
Data Usage of WhatsApp Video Call
On an average WhatsApp, a video call consumes 40-55 KB/S. Actual consumption depends on network connection like 3G,4G or Wifi. Here is a screenshot of Video Call done WhatsApp on 4G LTE network.
You can easily reduce the data consumption on your video and voice calls in WhatsApp settings. Go to Setting>Data Usage>Call Settings and check the low data usage setting. That’s it, now WhatsApp will consume fewer data on your calls.
